it was probably a week 1/2 per head, working full time on it. its tough to calculate the cost per mask- supplies naturally come more in bulk. the initial investment of tools such as paints/airbrushes/busts etc is fairly high. probably took me around $700 to make my initial setup, but once you have tools such as airbrush/paints/sculpting picks/a foam head to sculpt on top of, it just comes down to the cost of plaster clay and latex which isn't that terrible. initial setup costs aside- each mask probably came down to 40-50 bucks in materials. monstermakers.com was my store of choice back when i lived in the states, you can get a clearer idea there.
